Meet John
John Dynes is the Founder and Principal of Stone Road Advisory, providing fractional executive leadership and strategic counsel at the intersection of institutional finance, governance, and impact-oriented capital.
John currently serves as Chief Investment Officer for the Canadian Alliance for Transit-Connected Housing (CATCH), a blended-capital affordable housing debt fund developed in partnership with Social Innovation Canada. He sits on the Board of Governors of Centennial College, where he serves as Vice-Chair, and serves on the Finance and Audit Committee at LOFT Community Services.
Previously, John was a Consulting Partner at Cascadia Consulting and spent 16 years as Partner and Portfolio Manager at JC Clark, a Toronto-based institutional investment firm, where he was responsible for portfolio oversight, risk management, and capital markets strategy.
John holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations, and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program (ICD.D).
